- 1/2 c. butter
- 5 to 6 med. potatoes, pared & thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Preheat heavy skillet for 2 minutes over medium heat. Melt butter.
- Add potatoes in layers, salt and pepper between each layer.
- Cover and fry over medium-low heat for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Uncover, turn potatoes and brown other side for 10 minutes.
- Loosen occasionally.
Makes 6 servings.
