IngredientsBaked Beets in Cream

  • 1⁄4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon juice


  1. Bake unwashed beets at 400⁰ for 60 to 90 minutes.
  2. When beets are cool enough to handle remove skin and root
  3. Thinly slice skinned baked beets.
  4. Heat in saucepan or skillet with cream, add salt and pepper.
  5. Before serving add lemon juice.
