Blackened Steak

IngredientsBlackened Steaks

  • 4 Ribeye Steaks
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 6 tsp. Blackening Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Horseradish Sauce


  1. Heat a cast iron skillet until very hot.
  2. Brush both sides of the steaks with cooking oil.
  3. Coat each side of the steaks with 3/4 tsp. of blackening seasoning.
  4. Place in the iron skillet and cook until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Turn over steak and cook on the other side. (For a 1 inch thick, Medium Rare steak cook about 4 minutes on the first side and 3 minutes on the other side.)
  6. Serve with your favorite horseradish sauce.

We use rib-eye steaks from Omaha Steaks
