Fresh Corn on the Cob (Microwaved)

  • Fresh corn on the cob with husks and silk still intact


Cooking Timetable:

  • 1 ear  –  2 minutes
  • 2 ears – 4 to 5 minutes
  • 3 ears – 6 to 7 minutes
  • 4 ears – 8 to 9 minutes
  • 6 ears – 9 to 10 minutes

When ears are hot to the touch, remove from microwave and wrap in towel or foil.Corn on the Cob Microwaved 2

  1. Let stand at least 5 minutes.
  2. Remove husks and silk by cutting off the bottom of the ear.  Squeeze the top or thinner end of the ear and the ear should pop out leaving the husk and silk behind.
  3. Serve with melted butter and salt to taste.
