Lemon Herbed Chicken

IngredientsLemon Herbed Chicken 2

  • 2 pounds of chicken parts
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 can 10 ¾ ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon tarragon leaves
  • Dash of pepper


  1. In skillet, brown chicken in shortening; pour off fat.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Cover, cook over low heat 45 minutes or until done.
  4. Stir occasionally.

Garnish with lemon slices
