- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 – 8 ounce can crushed pineapple in syrup, undrained
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- In a 1 quart saucepan mix brown sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in pineapple including syrup, lemon juice and mustard.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
- Boil and stir constantly for 1 minute
