Ingredientspizza-dough-2

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package rapid rise yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water, more or less is needed

Directions

  1.  Put all the dry ingredients in a food processor or stand mixer.
  2. With the processor or mixer running, slowly pour in the warm water, until the dough forms a ball.
  3. Turn the dough out into a lightly floured surface and knead for a few minutes.
  4. Spray a glass bowl with cooking spray, place the dough in the bowl and spray the top of the dough ball.
  5. Cover with a dishcloth and place in a warm location.
  6. Let the dough rise until doubled in size, about 30 minutes to an hour.
  7. Spray your choice of cooking pan lightly with cooking spray. This is enough dough for one 13” x 9″ pan for a pizza with medium thickness, or two 12 inch circular pans for a thinner crust.
  8. Spread the dough out evenly on the pan.
  9. If desired, but don’t rest for 10 – 15 minutes
