Pork Roast with Mustard Sauce and Honey Apples

IngredientsPork Roast 2

  •       1 Tbspn rubbed sage
  •       ¼ teaspn dried whole marjoram
  •       2 Tbspns soy sauce
  •       2 cloves garlic, minced
  •       ½ cup Dijon mustard
  •       1  5 lb rolled boneless pork loin roast
  •       Honey Apples – recipe below


  1. Combine sage, marjoram, soy sauce, garlic, and mustard in a small bowl.  Mix well.  Apples Sauteing
  2. Place roast, fat side up, in a shallow roasting pan; spread with mustard mixture. 
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 325⁰F. for 2 to 2 ½ hours or until thermometer registers 160⁰F.  We use the Chef Remi Cooking Thermometer Click Here
  4. Serve roast with Honey Apples. 
  5. Makes 10 to 12 servings.

Honey Apples – Ingredients

  •       4 Granny Smith Apples
  •       ½ cup honey
  •       ¼ teaspn salt
  •       ¼ teaspn ground cinnamon
  •       2 Tbspns cider vinegar

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples into ½ inch slices and set aside. 
  2. Combine honey, salt, cinnamon, and cider vinegar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. 
  3. Add apples; reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes.  
  4. Makes about 2 cups.
