- 5 tomatillos, husked and cored
- 1 jalapeno, chopped
- ¼ cup chopped onion, about one half an onion.
- 2 garlic cloves
- Juice of one lime
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ Cup cilantro leaves, roughly chopped
- Put tomatillos, jalapenos, onion, garlic, lime, cilantro and salt in the blender and purée until desired consistency.
- Thin with water as needed to purée.
