Salsa Verde

  • 5 tomatillos, husked and coredSalsa Verde
  • 1 jalapeno, chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped onion, about one half an onion.
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Juice of one lime
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ Cup cilantro leaves, roughly chopped


  1. Put tomatillos, jalapenos, onion, garlic, lime, cilantro and salt in the blender and purée until desired consistency.
  2. Thin with water as needed to purée.
