IngredientsSpicy Hummus

  • 1 can garbanzo beans; drained, reserve 2 tablespoons of liquid
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in food processor or blender, including the 2 tablespoons reserved liquid.
  2. Purée until smooth.
  3. Serve with warm pita, raw veggies, and veggie or Rice chips.
  4. Can also be used as a sandwich spread or on chicken
