IngredientsBeef-Taco-Salad-with-Chunky-Tomato-Dressing

  • 1 pound ground sirloin; browned
  • 4-5 cups romaine lettuce; chopped
  • 1 medium onion; chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes; chopped
  • 1 small package reduced fat cheddar cheese; (grated)
  • 2 small avocado; halved and sliced
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 Tbsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 6-7 ounce bag of tortilla chips
  • Jar of your favorite salsa; optional condiment
  • black olives; sliced (optional condiment)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream; optional condiment
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt; optional condiment

Directions

  1. Brown meat, Season with chili and garlic powders.
  2. Put lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cheese in a large bowl.
  3. Top with tortilla chips.
  4. Add meat and toss salad.
  5. Dish up individual servings, and add condiments to individual taste. (avocado, sour cream, black olives, salsa)
