Turkey and Rice Soup


IngredientsTurkey and Rice Soup

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup quick-cooking rice
  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
  • 1 (14-1/2 ounces) can whole tomatoes, un-drained and cut up


  1. Add chicken broth, water, chopped fresh rosemary, and fresh ground black pepper.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  3. Stir in vegetables and rice.
  4. Return to boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in turkey, and tomatoes with liquid.
  7. Simmer until heated through.
